Staked tomatoes at Tiny's farm in East Wenatchee.

Brandywine, large pink beefsteak tomatoes that grow to 2 pounds. Incredibly rich, delightfully intense tomato flavor. First picking mid July. This heirloom tends to slight blemishes and minor cracking but flavor trumps any inherent cosmetic blemishes.  JULY THROUGH OCTOBER We’re forever shaking our heads at Cosmonaut Volkov, named after a Russian astronaut.  This strangely-named Ukrainian tomato wins one taste test after another. Has that perfect blend of sweet and tart, with a rich complexity that has you savoring the flavor long after it's eaten.   JULY THROUGH OCTOBER Perfect, pink, medium-size, 6-8 oz., flattened globes have full, rich tomato flavor. One of the best tasting tomatoes in the Albion trials. Unlike most heirloom varieties, Pink Beauty is considered to be a blemish-free variety. Easy to grow.  HARVESTED ALL SEASON
Speckled Roman, a cross of Antique Roman and Banana Legs. Gorgeous 3" wide by 5" long tomatoes with jagged orange and yellow stripes. Meaty, great tomato taste with few seeds. Still throws an occasional yellow striped fruit. Difficult to grow in the field because of blossom end rot. BEARS ALL SEASON
Big Beef, with flavor rivaling Brandywine, extremely sweet and tends to grow to a very large size.  At Tiny's tomato vineyards, Big Beef is the most consistent producer and we harvest this winner every week during the growing season.  JULY THROUGH OCTOBER
