Summer Fruit Now Harvesting Daily at Tiny's!

Cherries are still in the pipeline and this year is the latest they have ever been harvested.  Normally our latest cherry, the Sweetheart, is off the trees by mid-July but with the unseasonably cool (no, cold!) spring, harvest of almost all varieties has been delayed at least at week.  Check our 'normal' pick dates and add 7-10 days for this year's harvest schedule.

Donut Peach harvest is well under way and sweetness indicators are way off the charts Normal brix (% sugar content) runs about15% for Donuts but this year most are up in the 18%+ range.  We'll have the Donuts right through the end of August.

Upcoming is Sweet Dream peach harvest and we'll have a limited amount available for markets.  CSA members will see them in their bags possibly next week but for sure the following week, August 20.   We're also harvesting Flavor Supreme pluots from our orchards at both high and low  elevations and will have those available at all markets and in good supply for another couple of weeks.

Last half memberships are now available with a signup deadline on or before August 29, 2008.  First pickup date is Wednesday September 3, 2008 and the second half program runs for 11 consecutive weeks.

SPECIAL NOTE:  Our 'Farm to City' program is limited to a certain membership level.  Due to  planting schedules and delivery logistics we will reach a level beyond which we cannot offer more memberships for the second half.  For that reason, we encourage members to sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment later.
